Cindy's Story
After one year at MSU,I married my high school sweetheart and divorced him in 9 months. Then I dated a little and worked some jobs and while I was dating 3 guys decided to marry again. Don't know why, I felt I had to correct the first mistake. So after having a beautiful daughter Lacey in 1982 I didn't like him either, so divorce 2 in less than 2 years. So I got a good job and got over my failures and became a good mom, and met my husband Mickey. I think it was love at first sight. I remember the first time I met him. But I got over it and had Micah 1986 and Morgan 1988. Well, life has been pretty good with Mickey. He's a C.P.A. and a really hard worker, he cheats on me every chance he thinks he can get by with. on a happier note I'm much smarter than I used to be and he's alot older. Been married 23 years and its not been easy, I swallowed my pride and gave 200%. I lost my oldest daughter in 2005 to menningitis. That was definitely life changing, I deal with it every day, I would not wish it on my worst enemy. I try to keep busy and stay out of my two other children's lives, but what can I say: I'm a concerned parent. My son Micah brought me in a grandson, Gunnar 2008. He so adorable. I don't worry about aging my skin any more because by the time this sun damage catches up to I'll be dead.. Onward to 50. I'm a little broken and quite a bit wiser not nearly as cute but I've grown accustomed to being me and that's who I am.
